EJ brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and served 10 years in public service as a former state senator of Maryland.

He is a diligent and trusted financial advisor who wants to be the quarterback who guides every aspect of his client’s financial lives—and his diverse business scope gives him the tools to do it. EJ’s experience spans the private, public and nonprofit sectors and includes Fortune 100 companies. He also founded and led an environmental protection nonprofit organization.

EJ specializes in solving complex financial issues that require a team approach to analyzing, developing and implementing an action plan. You can count on EJ to lead financial teams that focus on delivering solid returns and building strong relationships.

EJ earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Colgate Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He later received a Master of Science in Sport Management (MSSM) degree from Southern Methodist University (SMU). Outside of work, EJ is also an avid cycler, runner and concertgoer with a focus on ’70s music.
